Operation SNIP is looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our fast pace enviornment! We are looking for someone with experience in high volume, high quality veterinary care to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, blood draws, and dental cleanings
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures and treatments
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
- Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery of animals
- Perform laboratory tests and analyze samples
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment
Skills:
-High Volume Anethesia Experience
- Veterinary technician certification or relevant experience
- Proficient in aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Knowledge of animal husbandry practices and animal behavior
- Familiarity with veterinary medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
